About Pratab Kumar

As an Emergency Physician at Ministry Of Health, Malaysia (KKM) for more than eight years and 17 years of experience in healthcare industry, I have been spearheading the top management group at Hospital Shah Alam, where I work with a diverse and dedicated team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, patient-oriented, and progressive healthcare especially top notched emergency care. I have also been involved in various quality improvement initiatives, such as reducing waiting time, enhancing patient satisfaction, and improving clinical outcomes, thanks to the ED Quality Improvement Professional Certification Course from Harvard University that I completed in 2020. To further develop my leadership, management, and strategic skills, I have completed Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare Management from UTM. I have also completed a Certificate in Medical Law and Jurisprudence from Brickfields Asia College in 2018, which has equipped me with valuable medico legal knowledge and skills. My goal is to grow with any organization that shares my vision and value of delivering healthcare services that are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.
