About Prateek Agarwal

For 15 years, I've been a builder at the intersection of B2B SaaS and complex technology. My journey has taken me from being a hands-on engineer at Amazon and Microsoft to a 2x Founder, learning the hard-won lessons of building products and businesses from the ground up. At Plivo (YC S12), I led the zero-to-one build of a sophisticated sales engagement platform, deepening my expertise in the GTM and revenue side of the house. But I've always been driven by a deeper question: How can we move beyond just making processes more efficient and start building technology that fundamentally transforms how organizations operate? That question has led me to my current mission as the Director of the AI Platform at Keka. We are not just building another HR tool. We are architecting the 'People OS' for the Future of Work. My team is building the foundational, AI-Native platform—the core services, data pipelines, and marketplace—that will power a new generation of 'Workforce Intelligence' solutions. Our goal is to move beyond the 'System of Record' and solve the deep, strategic problems that keep CEOs up at night: culture, performance, alignment, and talent retention. This is a zero-to-one challenge to create a new category, and it's the most exciting work of my career. Core Expertise: AI Product Strategy: Defining the vision and roadmap for AI-Native platforms.
