I realised long back that security & automation are the way forward and started to do my share in bringing latest technologies to India specifically for the Indian Railways; so that their Signalling & Security Systems are enhanced modernised & automated to build a robust structure which prevent train accidents which cause widespread damage loss & tragedy from happening I have been a great supporter of Make in India and I was determined to get access to the latest signalling communication & security technologies for the Indian Railways. Indigenous manufacturing using international technology transfers was the call of the day & it has been & will be my mission. I set up Sigma and Texmaco Transtek with a focus to design develop manufacture & establish modern technology for Indian Railways. Based in Kolkata West Bengal India over 50000+ sq ft Sigma now provides complete indigenous solutions for Manufacturing Engineering & Testing for the Signalling & Communications Division Indian Railways. We work towards "AatmaNirbhar Bharat" by indigenising foreign technology & providing turnkey timely rail infrastructure development solutions at low cost; aiming at growth of rail transport and creating new jobs thus boosting the overall economy. Our partners Altpro from Croatia - a specialised company which provides safety critical signalling systems used on railway infrastructure & vehicles had been vying for access to Indian Railways. They offer a wide range of train detection systems level crossing protection & INDUSI-based automatic train protection (ATP – i60 and PZB90). They have certified products from independent international certification institutions for highest safety integrity levels (SIL 4). Today we provide a variety of modern & latest signalling & safety systems for Indian Railways infrastructure. Our forte is installation and commissioning of MSDACs along with a fail-safe data transmission device a combination that serves for secure reliable & fast information transfer between locations. We use our in-house Kolkata production & fabrication factories for realising our supplies. We have established mutually-beneficial partnerships & are providing Indian Railways with the best in Security Communication & Signalling Systems. Our new endeavours & partnerships are targeted to further enhance the safety of the lifeline of country ie. Indian Railways. We have had & will have a great role to play in the modernisation growth & betterment of the Indian Railways Signalling & Telecommunication Systems amongst other verticals.
