Chartered Accountant specializing in Indirect taxation - advisory services, litigation management and evaluating impact of emerging laws on businesses (primarily Goods and Services Tax) Currently I’m working with Grant Thornton Indian LLP a management Consulting firm as Manager. With over 7 years of diversified experience by working for diverse clientele of Entertainment, Textile, Information Technology, Pharma, Automobile, Manufacturing etc. in the areas of tax advisory, transaction modelling, tax projections, management of procedural compliance, health-checks and diagnostics, a fair amount of knowledge has been gained in the field of Indirect taxation specially GST. I personally feel that society is an important stakeholder for a thriving business ecosystem. Societal progress and development are therefore a pre-requisite for the industry to be successful. The onus is therefore on us to strive to be sustainable, inclusive and giving at the same time. To repay to the society, I have been actively working with NGOs like Sewa Mission who are promoting health care and sanitation by providing financial and medical support to the needy and poor people for curing life threatening diseases and human disabilities.
