About Prateek Gautam

I actively pursue building data products that scale intelligently and align with real human behavior. As a Data Scientist at Amazon Books Tech, I build scalable data solutions that support how the world reads - from Kindle and audiobooks to physical books. My work powers decision-making across product, operations, and content, helping deliver better experiences for readers and creators alike. With a foundation in machine learning, NLP, and analytics strategy, I bring both technical rigor and product intuition to every project. I’ve worked across industries - from developing an LLM-powered chatbot at a fintech startup to optimizing portfolio strategies and customer engagement using predictive models. My early career in education taught me how to communicate complex ideas clearly - a skill I continue to apply when influencing stakeholders and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
