About Prateek Pradhan

Not one to speak much, I like to let my work speak for itself. A computer scientist with varied interests and experiences, I am passionate about computer networks and cybersecurity. Purposely, I have worked hard on developing scripting and penetration testing skills, and gaining a deeper understanding of the cybersecurity domains while gaining more than two years of professional experience as a Software Developer. Currently pursuing a Masters in Cybersecurity at Northeastern University, I am working on further improving my skills in privilege escalation, web application security, binary exploitation development, reverse engineering and digital forensics. In my off time, I like to participate in CTFs and solve challenges on HTB and TryHackMe. I have also shared the write-up of my solutions to some HTB machines (https://prateek22.github.io/Hack-the-Box-Machines/) to help others learn from my mistakes and look forward to publish more. Away from my work, I love to go on trips, read books, or watch football. A passionate Arsenal FC supporter I try to never miss a match and keep myself up-to-date with happenings in football and the digital world. I love the work that I am doing at Northeastern. And I am looking to utilize it for experiences that help me learn and grow, while contributing towards shaping a more collaborative working space. I am always available to contact on LinkedIn.
