About Prathamesh Dandekar

At 11 years old, I watched as a sailboat built by my father completed it's circumnavigation of the globe. I was filled with a profound sense of pride and excitement as I stood on the docks awaiting the Arrival of INSV Mhadei. Years later, I pursued my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering at Cal Poly Pomona and used my skills to work with my father, understanding then the immense amount of hard work and effort it takes to make mere pieces of wood, wires, and fasteners into a sea-worthy vessel. I still carry that sense of pride and excitement I felt on the docks that day and I bring it into everything I do as a Process Engineer. I strive to create innovative solutions to make manufacturing processes more efficient. I work well under pressure and am always open to a challenge and a learning opportunity. My strengths lie in my ability to step out of my comfort zone and work hard until a problem is solved. There are countless challenges awaiting my attention and endless problems to be solved, and I can't wait to tackle them, further my learning, and grow into a better Engineer.
