About Pratheeksha Hora

As a management graduate from University of Nottingham, I have developed a strong foundation in business principles, strategy, and innovation, complementing my engineering background and experience. I have also gained valuable skills in fostering inclusivity, creating workable solutions, and problem-solving, through participating in the NUBS Company Based Challenge and completing multiple certifications from Project Management Institute.Previously, I worked as a CAE analyst at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India, where I contributed to multiple carline projects involving electric and internal combustion engine vehicles. My specific mandate was to enhance rear adult occupant safety, which I achieved by applying advanced simulation techniques and optimizing design parameters. I also worked with the AMG powertrain team and the battery team, where I performed performance prediction of the M139 engine and addressed coolant filling issues, respectively. Through these roles, I developed a strong sense of responsibility, time management, and adaptability in a fast-paced automotive engineering setting.
