About Prathik Kumar

As a dedicated facade inspector and testing engineer, my career began as a Quality Control Engineer on the Anugraha project in Bangalore for Salarpuria Sattva. I then advanced to working as a Quality inspector for the New York City Public Health Laboratory project with Eminent International at Cladtech International in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. Currently, I continue in the same company, where I specialize in facade installation inspections, on-site and lab inspections of installed facades, and dismantling inspections.I bring extensive experience in a wide range of tests, including air infiltration/exfiltration, water penetration (static and dynamic), structural load/proof load, seismic, vertical jack, thermal cycling, and seal degradation. Additionally, I conduct comprehensive balustrade and glass tests, such as GASP/SCALP, roller wave, edge lift, overall bow, fragmentation, and thermographic analysis.Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute my testing experience to numerous high-profile projects, including curtain wall, window & doors, U-PVC windows & doors, railing/balustrade and ACP cladding. My work is always aligned with industry standards, including BS EN, ASTM, AAMA, CWCT, AS/NZS and IS.
