About Prathima Patel

I am a science graduate with a master’s degree in English along with Bachelor's in education. I entered the field of education to effectively implement the shortcomings in the education system which I noticed at my workplace as a corporate employee. Since my joining, I have worked for the upliftment of school without compromising with my social responsibilities. I lead by example in teaching Teachers and students to stay humble and to help underprivileged. I believe in preparing students to suit life rather than to write examinations alone. To add to my efforts of preparing children for the employable world, I have introduced technology-based solutions by collaborating with Intel technologies and have implemented it in the best possible way, by making every teacher capable of using the digital boards to teach the students. I just don't believe in delegating work without knowing how to do it. Setting deadlines with buffer time and having backup plans that can be worked on within the buffer time, such that the required work is executed on time without any breach is my way of working. Unlearn to learn better is the ideology with which I perform. I believe in blended learning as it becomes my responsibility to equip the students to learn from their surroundings and simultaneously equip the school to run and perform at its best at every situation or crisis. Arboretum, gratitude station, adapt to changes, Kreedo laboratory, corporate trainings for Teachers are some of my initiatives to meet the growing demands. I compete with myself to gain and upgrade the required knowledge to keep myself abreast with the competition around me. I have given 100% results in my subject (class 10) for 4 consecutive years and overall 100% results for the academic year 2019-20. I have represented my school as a speaker in several K-12 forums. The latest being Indian Education Congress in 2020. I own the pride of bagging my school several rewards and recognition, to name a few, Eldrok award for co-curricular activities, Parent of Innovation award for innovation in teaching methodology (finalist), Eco-friendly school award by the Pollution Control Board of Karnataka. I lead the team that worked for gaining CBSE affiliation for the school. I have a good raport with some of the CBSE board members. My personal achievements include: 1. Jnana Sindhu award in 2015 2. Kannada Garudiga award in 2018
