8 years of Research experience and my area of research is basically a Plant Biochemistry based on public health hazards due to the presence of heavy metal contaminants present in the soil. I worked on Nutritional Quality and Phytoremediation effect of vegetables and checked their microbial profile. Also did survey that how many people of the Indore region affected different types of health hazards. I used Biofertilizer (Neem cake powder) as a treatment for soil health and fertility. I used Organic vegetables as a Control and then compared and finding results to the sewage contaminated, fertilizer treated, microbial profiling of soil and vegetables, Nutritional quality and Phytoremediation effect (main heavy metals like mercury, arsenic, cadmium, lead). These heavy metal contaminants lead to public health hazards and causes many different types of infections/diseases/cancer/inability. In my study, I suggested that the people, government, local authority should be contribute towards sustainable agriculture practices. Farmers must be aware about heavy metal contamination/poisoning and grow crops organically. Govt. of India also formed a scheme called "Soil health card scheme" Under the scheme, the government plans to issue soil cards to farmers which will carry crop-wise recommendations of nutrients and fertilisers required for the individual farms to help farmers to improve productivity through judicious use of inputs. All soil samples are to be tested in various soil testing labs across the country. Thereafter the experts will analyse the strength and weaknesses (micro-nutrients deficiency) of the soil and suggest measures to deal with it. The result and suggestion will be displayed in the cards. The government plans to issue the cards to 14 crore farmers. There are 12 parameters which are checked/tested by the laboratory. We should go ahead with sustainable agricultural practices and to achieve sustainable development goal No. 2 zero hunger by 2030.
