About Pratik Bhonsle

I am a T-shaped Senior Software Engineer with a career-long focus on building resilient, high-availability systems. Since 2006, I have navigated the evolution of the web - from early Classic ASP, C#, and.NET Core applications to mastering the modern JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js ecosystems. At Smartsheet, I am a core contributor to the Automations pillar. My impact ranges from full-stack feature delivery and building developer-centric CLI tools to executing zero-downtime, cross-region migrations of high-throughput production environments. I bridge the gap between application code, platform reliability, and developer experience ensuring that complex distributed systems remain operational and usable at scale. Beyond product engineering, I have some experience in Observability and Platform efficiency. I’ve designed custom, cost-effective scaling solutions for AWS Kinesis that outperformed native vendor offerings, and I’ve led security-critical modernizations in high-compliance environments like AWS GovCloud. Core Tech: TypeScript, Node.js, React, C#, Go, Java, SQL/NoSQL, AWS, GCP, Terraform, and Distributed Systems.
