I am a QA Engineer with 3+ years of experience in manual and automated testing. With automated testing, I have experience with Selenium, a tool that is used for automating web applications for testing purposes. I use Java as the scripting language. Along with Selenium, I use a various number of testing frameworks, including Junit and TestNG. I also use Cucumber, as it is an smooth way to integrate Selenium using a Behavior Driven Development (BDD) integration. To use Cucumber, I incorporate the text using the Gherkin format. While Selenium is a popular testing tool, I have used alternatives like Serenity BDD. To compile the code, I use platforms like Git and I build the code on a Continuous Integration / Continuous Development (CI/CD) pipeline using tools such as Jenkins in that process. Alongside web application-based testing, I have also tested in several databases, including Oracle and My SQL Server, where I wrote various SQL queries for data access and data manipulation. I have also conducted API tests, primarily using Postman, but I have also used SOAPUI as well. In terms of the tests that I have done, I have conducted several functional and non-functional tests. Functional tests include but are not limited to Positive, Negative, and Regression. I have conducted performance tests on software and on hardware. I have also conducted black-box testing. I have even conducted some manual mobile tests. I have worked in both agile and waterfall methodologies. While in an agile workplace, I conducted my tests, in a timely manner to ensure that I met the sprint goal set by the organization. I have followed and even led in some of the agile ceremonies including but not limited to conducting daily scrums, sprint retrospectives, and sprint plannings.
