About Pratik Modi

As the Dean (Director) of the School of Management & Centre for Continuing Education at BML Munjal University, I bear the responsibility of shaping the strategic direction of the school, providing academic leadership, promoting research, and fostering a culture of academic excellence to ensure the School of Management's continued growth and success. I am currently on lien from IRMA, where I served as Dean (Faculty) while continuing to hold the position of Professor of Marketing. Prior to this, I was associated with the Portsmouth Business School at the University of Portsmouth, UK, where I worked as a Research Fellow and Visiting Fellow. I am a passionate researcher with a strong track record of publications in top-tiered international journals and securing substantial research grants from organizations such as IDRC-TTI, UNICEF, ICSSR, and the University of Portsmouth. My consulting portfolio includes several state and central governments, multilateral agencies, and leading MNCs as clients. Throughout my career, I have played pivotal roles in institutional administration at various leadership positions and have spearheaded strategic initiatives and policy formulations that have resulted in significant institutional transformation and growth. Beyond academia, I have a diverse set of interests. I am an ex-professional Tennis player, a government-certified rock climber, a trained Hindustani classical singer, and an experienced Himalayan survival trekker. In my downtime, I relish reading books that span diverse topics in literature, science, history, arts, and society.
