About Pratik Solim

I build the systems that ship software to millions of users. At Postman, I own the Client Platform and Distribution stack, the CI/CD pipelines, rollout controls, app update flow and download infrastructure that get the app into users' hands. When I joined, shipping a feature to production took days. Today, it takes under an hour. The 75% DAU adoption mark went from 15 days to 3. Download-related on-calls? Zero. Most recently, I led the 2026 roadmap planning for the team, aligning platform priorities with company-level goals and getting buy-in from department leads. I also led the distribution function for the Postman v12 rollout, ensuring infra and platform readiness ahead of the contribution and usage spike. On the observability side, I designed a CI/CD observability pipeline that tracks DORA metrics across client builds, with an MCP integration that makes the data self-serve for engineering teams. Before Postman, I spent ~3 years at WebEngage working on high-traffic Web SDKs and a real-time Personalisation service, cutting infra cost by 40% and stabilising services during traffic spikes. Before that, I built gamification engines and data pipelines at BookMyShow Labs, including production Go APIs for backend services. What I bring to the table- Deep expertise in CI/CD automation, release engineering, and distribution systems- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/Node.js, TypeScript, Go, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Redis, MySQL/Postgres, MongoDB- Track record of leading teams, driving roadmaps, and shipping measurable reliability winsLet's connect if you're solving hard infrastructure and platform problems at scale.
