About Pratyush Ranjan

As a Software Developer at The Linux Foundation, I have contributed to the optimization and testing of printer drivers and libraries for open source projects. I have designed and implemented testing programs in C and C++ for continuous integration, and created a robust makefile to automate testing during build. I have also worked with GitHub workflows to trigger tests at pull requests.I have completed the BTech degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Kanpur, India. I have a strong interest in quantitative modeling and probabilistic machine learning. I have also applied my skills to a data science project at Publicis Sapient, where I delivered an end-to-end pipeline for automating dynamic pricing for e-commerce businesses. I am looking for full-time opportunities as a quantitative researcher, analyst, or developer, where I can leverage my skills and knowledge to solve challenging problems and create value. I am passionate about learning new technologies and tools, and collaborating with like-minded people. I am proficient in Python, R, C++, and Django, and I have experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Pandas.
