About Pravas Kumar Sahoo

I lead the Valuations and Advisory team at Decimal Point Analytics which includes Valuations, Quants, Insurance, Risk, Analytics and Consulting teams with 100+ team size. I report to the CEO. I am a curious person and don't shy away to go out of my comfort zone to learn new things. I am an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management, Visakhapatnam (IIMV) with a CGPA of 3.55/4 (Highest among finance specialisation)with majors in Finance and Economics. I am the founding member of Vatsalya (CSR club of IIM Visakhapatnam). I did my B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from CET Bhubaneswar (Currently Odisha University of Technology and Research). I was the recipient of state merit awards from the chief minister of Odisha for academic performances in my Class 10 (sixth position in the state) and Class 12. Before joining IIMV, I worked as an Officer in Bank of India. I also worked as an Assistant Manager(Electrical) in Monnet Ispat and Energy Limited in the project team to build its 1.5 MTPA steel melting shop.
