About Preben Ougaard

The last work experience has primarily been managing an agile multicultural software development team in a multinational company. The results have been successful and innovative technical software products delivered to customers worldwide. The job has included team management in direct line as well as being an active product owner (PO). The PO role in the scaled agile environment (SAFe) has fitted well to my identity and personal goals. It is a challenge and personal success every time the softly described user requirements are transferred to specific and generic user stories being implemented in next program increment (PI). The management experience started in a minor Danish company 7T, which was acquired by Schneider Electric. The acquirement has involved handling of several transitions for respectively team and management ending in reporting and regular contact to R&D centres in Singapore and California. The technical experiance is based on a large number of projects and implementations including: • Implementation of SCRUM • Pressure, pump and reservoir optimization of water supply systems • Energy optimization of district heating systems • Hydraulic analyses of water, district heating/cooling, and gas systems. • Technical sales assistance • Tuning of real time hydraulic systems • Establishment and tuning of communication between SCADA and optimization modules. • Configuration and tuning of SQL servers • Calibration and simulation of hydraulic supply systems • Transient analysis of hydraulic systems – pressure surge analysis.
