Background

About Preben Saur

I have been working as a consultant in different market segments within consulting, project management and marketing and have held several senior positions such as IT manager, department manager and project manager. I have many years of experience as commercial manager in companies with a focus on IT and Internet based solutions. In recent years I have been responsible for projects within the segment of NPI (New Product Introduction) covering planning, production and delivery. In addition, I have the professional responsibility for the framework used in projects. In earlier positions I have had the responsibility for the infrastructure and implementation of IT projects. This entailed substantial savings in the form of more efficient processes and improved communication internally and externally. Through my education and experience I have gained a thorough understanding of project management, consulting and strategic planning. The main focus has been the use of IT as a tool to improve business processes. I have been involved in all phases of a project from consulting and sales to the requirements specification, procurement, project management, testing, deployment and training. I have received feedback that I am perceived as a resource person with good humor and a positive attitude to all challenges. My analytical abilities make me able to get a good overview of tasks and what it takes to implement these in an optimal manner.
