About Preeda Walker

17+ years in overall hands-on Accounting (OTC, PTP, RTR) & Finance (FP & A and Commercial Finance), Thai GAAP, US GAAP, SOX/COSO; 10+ years as team leader & country finance leadership role (MNC, Big 4). With hands-on management, I led and managed large, diverse teams in different countries such as Thailand, the Philippines, India, China, and Singapore. With my commercial mindset, I worked closely with the Managing Director and other business leaders toward revenue, margin achievement, and cost management through monthly business reviews with senior executives. I also provided the financial outlook and analysis monthly, quarterly, and yearly for senior executives. This included formulating, shaping, and delivering the strategic plan in a complex international environment. Under the Change Management / Way of Working projects of Deloitte (Big 4) and Diebold Nixdorf, I have successfully led complex international environment teams to complete ad-hoc projects, namely: ERP Implementation, Internal Controls Implementation, Finance & Accounting Restructuring, Process Improvement, System Transformation, and Finance Transformation (Accounting & Controlling, FP & A, Treasury). Apart from the above, I have strong skills in Leadership, People Management, Interpersonal, Organizational skills, Negotiation, Project management, Lean Management, Process Improvement, Internal Controls Implementation, SOX / COSO, System Transformation, Finance Transformation, Shared Service Management, Debt Collection, Funds Management, Global Investment, and High Level of International Coordinator (APAC, Europe, and USA). I have also successfully led the finance and accounting team to complete tasks on a timeline basis, namely month-end closing, board reports, statutory financial statements, and finance transformation to the Shared Services Team Overseas: India, Philippines, and Costa Rica. I have been recognized by the finance and accounting team, Deloitte’s clients, and other organizations as a Strong & Natural Leader. Additionally, I have strong skills in Thai (native) and English (more than 12 years living in the U.S. and currently living in the U.S.), strong professional communication skills with internal stakeholders (all Business Functions, Business Leaders, Senior Executives, Corporate HQ, Colleagues, Legal, Internal Auditor) and external stakeholders (Bankers, External Auditors, Attorneys, Professional Firms, Local and Overseas Government).
