About Preena Patel

Over the course of my 16 year career, I’ve developed a skill set across the following HR principles – HR Policies and Procedures, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Recruitment and Selection and Change Management. In my most recent position as Lead HR Advisor, I advised senior managers on legal and non-legal HR policies and procedures across the HR fundamentals, ensuring best practice and compliance of standards in their business area. I have been involved in project work such as changing the contractual terms and conditions across the company, which meant working with trade unions and the business to resolve employee disputes. I have managed large restructures and have been instrumental in the growth of business areas in a short space of time. Lastly, I have experience of managing, coaching and developing staff to provide a seamless HR service.My extensive experience has given me the ability to work through large volumes of work and stay calm under pressure whilst maintaining a professional manner. I pay attention to detail and have developed exceptionally good communication skills both verbal and written, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. I am a warm, personable and organized individual with a genuine interest in Human Resources.
