About Preet Sekhon

As a Child And Youth Worker at Reinventive Youth Care and an Early Childhood Assistant at Kids & Company, I apply my passion for working with children and my knowledge of criminology to support the development and well-being of diverse and vulnerable populations. I am currently pursuing a degree in Criminology at the University of Ottawa, where I learn about the causes, consequences, and prevention of crime and justice issues. I have also completed multiple certifications, including Canva Essential Training and Online CPR and First Aid, to enhance my skills and qualifications. With over a year of experience in the field of child and youth care, I have demonstrated my organization, communication, and collaboration skills, as well as my ability to adapt to different situations and environments. My goal is to use my education and experience to make a positive impact on the lives of children and youth in need.
