About Preetesh Kalidas

Preetesh has close to 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. His experience ranges from radio network planning and optimisation, software engineering, technical product development to device type approval testing, new technology introductions, executing proof of concepts, managing vendors, architecture design and development as well as driving innovative technical solutions across various business areas. Preetesh’s work experience spans across Nokia, Azisa, Cell C, Neotel and Liquid Telecom, where he has managed a variety of projects, inclusive of local and international vendors. He has a sound understanding of the South African telecommunications policy framework. Preetesh has a broad understanding of all telecommunications technologies, has an ability to conceptualise and communicate complex technical concepts, can balance technology and business considerations and is an out of the box thinker. He can manage teams, has good written and oral business communications skills and has the ability to develop and analyse business requirements and architectures. He is a definite team player, is hard working, dedicated and loves to share his knowledge and skills. He possesses management skills and has a passion for a challenging work environment where he can expand and grow his skills. He has completed his postgraduate diploma in business management in 2018 to further develop his career to be more management focused.
