Background
About Prem Bhattarai
Actively Seeking Opportunities in University Teaching, Research, RTO Training and Respiratory Testing Greetings, LinkedIn Community! I am a dedicated professional with a strong background in health sciences and a passion for research, teaching, training and respiratory testing. Currently, I am a PhD candidate at the School of Health Sciences, College of Health and Medicine, University of Tasmania, with my thesis recently submitted. In my current role as a Clinical Tester for the Tasmanian Longitudinal Health Study (TAHS) at The University of Melbourne, I conduct comprehensive clinical testing in Launceston and Burnie. This involves a range of tasks, from history-taking to respiratory testing, blood sample collection, and data analysis. Additionally, I serve as a Casual Tutor at the University of Tasmania where I contribute to the education of nursing and allied health sciences students, particularly areas of anatomy & physiology and pathophysiology. Furthermore, I am also working as a Trainer and Assessor for First Aid and CPR at Penny Royal College in Tasmania, providing essential training to all professionals. Furthermore, my international experience includes serving as a Lecturer at Birat Medical College and Teaching Hospital in Nepal, as well as a Teaching Assistant at Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences. These roles have equipped me with valuable skills in teaching and research. Before starting my PhD studies, I obtained the academic qualifications including a Master of Science in Basic and Medical Physiology and a Bachelor of Sciences in Medical Laboratory Technology. Additionally, I am certified in Training and Assessment (TAE40116). I continuously seek to enhance my skills and knowledge through relevant training and internships, such as my recent completion of courses in clinical pathology collection and venous blood collections. I am enthusiastic about exploring new opportunities in teaching, training, research and respiratory testing. Please feel free to connect with me or reach out for potential collaborations or opportunities. Thank you for considering my profile. Warm regards, Prem Bhattarai
