My name is Prem. I am an Ophthalmology resident in the Department of Ophthalmology & Vision Sciences, Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto (UofT). My background in academia includes a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from UofT, an MSc in Health Policy, Management and Evaluation from UofT, and an HBSc in Health Sciences from Wilfrid Laurier University. Given this background and a strong aptitude for clinical research and the field of ophthalmology, I aspire to gain the necessary experience to be a proficient clinician-researcher who can enact policy changes to improve the healthcare experience for my future patients. My life outside of academia is equally important.
