About Prem Parmar

As a cybersecurity professional with a solid foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects, I am passionate about creating secure, efficient, and scalable solutions to protect digital infrastructures. With a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and currently pursuing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Kennesaw State University, I’ve cultivated a deep understanding of data security, automation, and software development. My hands-on experience spans internships and professional roles where I’ve engineered automation scripts, enhanced security protocols, and collaborated across technical and legal teams to streamline security processes. Currently, as a Cyber Engineer at Fiserv, I focus on automating security management processes, reducing manual efforts, and optimizing operational efficiency through Python scripting and security tools. My previous roles at ADP and Safekrit allowed me to implement frameworks like OWASP and SAMM, conduct threat modeling, and improve security metrics, driving impactful changes within the organizations. I am proficient in Python, SQL, and Java, with experience in a wide range of tools and technologies like Azure, Linux, Wireshark, and Splunk. I am always eager to expand my skillset, and I enjoy working at the intersection of technology and security to protect and improve systems.
