About Preston Akers

With nearly two decades of experience in the insurance restoration industry, I’ve built my career around helping property owners navigate some of the most stressful moments they face. As a state-licensed public adjuster, I specialize in evaluating property damage, interpreting complex policy language, and advocating for fair, accurate claim outcomes. My background spans all sides of the restoration process — from hands-on construction knowledge to high-level claims negotiation. This perspective allows me to bridge the gap between carriers, contractors, and clients, ensuring that every claim is supported by clear documentation, sound building science, and a firm understanding of industry standards and codes.Today, I work with homeowners, attorneys, and restoration professionals who value precision, transparency, and ethical representation. My mission is simple: deliver clarity in a process that’s often anything but — and use my expertise to protect policyholders’ rights at every step.
