This challenging industry has provided me the opportunity to work in independent and OEM service departments, OEM training and training development, OEM and aftermarket field engineering, as well as aftermarket manufacturing, training, field, and sales support. I have had the opportunity to manage as many as 25 individuals and accept responsibilities for monitoring, supporting and advising 75 dealers in the market. My office has been my tool box, a converted spare bedroom, a corporate cubical, even seat 12C on the next flight. My technical experience includes every system and component (bumper to bumper) for gasoline, diesel, and hybrid applications. New vehicle or systems challenges presented are confronted with a continued drive to learn. In recent years I have been more involved in sales activities. My technical experience has proven to be a golden asset to sales, product confidence and owner loyalty. There is an incredible advantage to technical sales representation that has not been fully exploited in this industry by vehicle or part manufacturers. My technical experience overshadows my experiences and abilities in people management, creating a team environment to utilize talents with productive results while providing individuals the support they desire to develop and grow. The measurement and reporting of all the hard work is often overlooked, I have data base monitoring and tracking experience, am very well versed in analyzing data and creating reports through the use of excel formulas and pivot tables, as well as other applications.
