About Preston Hoopes

As Director of Business Development, Mergers & Acquisitions I am responsible for collaborating with regional and branch leaders to help source M&A opportunities. I also lead a team of regional M&A specialists that identify and foster relationships with potential merger partners. I have been with Gallagher since 2017 and joined as a merger partner when my previous firm, Presidio Group, Inc, was acquired. Before assuming my current role, I was a regional M&A specialist and an Area Vice President specializing in the construction and specialty markets. Prior to joining Presidio, I spent several years at Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company as a State Sales Vice President and Regional Sales Vice President. My responsibilities included property and casualty production and developing and closing agency purchases. I was named Producer of the Year after his first year and qualified to become a member of the Million Dollar Roundtable, the premier global association for financial professionals, after my second year.
