About Preston Malone

My name is Claude Preston Malone IV and I would describe myself as hard-working and determined. During high school, my life revolved mostly around academics and sports. Whenever I had free time, I was working. Once I proceeded into college I played three years of football under head coach Nick Saban. This taught me the significance of how hard work can pay off, the importance of how to manage my time, and to always show up with a good attitude. Whether it be with work, practice, or school. During my 4 years of college, I achieved the Dean's list 3 times, the President's list 2 times, and SEC Honor Roll student 1 time. After college, I pursued a career in the construction industry where I gained experience in time management, critical thinking, and PM applications. Most projects were large scale industrial with some small commercial projects.Currently, I am working as a Civil Project Engineer where I collaborate with colleagues, general contractors, city officials and clients to provide engineering services such as site layout design, permitting, grading, construction coordination, and project management.
