About Preston Rush

My childhood From the Lego buildings and Erector sets of my childhood, to the catapults and mouse trap cars of my high school life, I have always had interest in construction and hands-on activities. I have always strived to exceed higher than others through both individual and team competition and from this I have developed a work-hard, play-hard mentality. Aging My passion for hands-on activity and technology drew me to construction engineering, where I am able to combine my two passions and construct my own designs. With my eye on the construction industry and a taste for technology, I seek to make revolutionary change in the way we commute and live. Leadership I have previous experience in leadership due to my Boy Scout involvement, where I worked my way up the ranks to become an Eagle Scout. I am capable of leading a large group from beginning to end and completing the task flawlessly. My Eagle Scout project is a great example of my leadership and my organizational skills. My project involved building the Stations of the Cross for John Paul the 2nd Church in Denton, TX and properly displaying them. To begin my project, I created a list of materials, the quantity, and the price of each item. After gathering the materials, I gathered friends and adults to help me with my project. I lead these approximately twenty people and completed my project successfully and flawlessly while also giving back to the community and allowing JPII to carry out the Stations of the Cross. Pushing myself As a creative mind, I take pride in doing the unordinary and stepping outside the box. I force myself into awkward circumstances just to challenge myself and push myself to new limits. This mind set allows me to work in fast pace environments and multitask several projects at once. I am hard working, dependable, and am a strong believer that if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life-Marc Anthony.
