About Preston Taylor

I build sales teams and territories from scratch. I've done it twice — first in the competitive NJ/NYC market where I took a territory from zero to over 1,200 active accounts, and now in Central Florida where I'm building Beacon Protection's presence across five counties: Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee, Pasco, and Sarasota. My focus is commercial security — cameras and CCTV, alarm and intrusion, access control, fire systems, and intercoms. I work with business owners across restaurants, retail, office, warehouse, hospitality, and HOA/multifamily to help them understand where they're exposed and what actually covering them looks like. Our installation and service team is local — and when something needs attention, my customers call me directly. I'd rather be the person who solves the problem than hand you off to a call center. Before sales, I spent six years as a Police Officer and Security Forces manager in the United States Air Force — protecting over personnel and more than $5 billion in national assets. That background shapes how I think about security. I don't sell products. I assess gaps and build solutions. If you own or manage a commercial property in the Tampa Bay area and want a straight conversation about your security coverage, feel free to connect.
