About Priscilla A White

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, licensed by the Counselor, Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapist Board of Ohio. I earned my Master’s in Education and Health Sciences from the University of Dayton, with a focus on Clinical Mental Health 2014. My education was complemented by hands-on experience through internship with a private practice where I became an Outpatient Therapist. As an Outpatient Therapist I worked with children, individuals, families, and couples with a variety of clinical and mental health needs. I know personally how the demands of life can be overwhelming - mentally, physically, and spiritually. Despite my own emotionally-devasting life experiences, I am an overcomer using those experiences to connect with, engage, and counsel others to overcome. Through it all I have a passion for “helping hurting people heal.” I have experience with couples counseling, depression and anxiety, panic attacks and panic disorder, anger management, trauma and PTSD. I am professionally trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), an effective evidence-based therapy for trauma treatment. As a licensed professional counselor, and ordained minister, I focus on the wellness of the whole person. If you are looking to be your best self, begin by investing in yourself today. Let There Is Hope Counseling help you through our caring and transformative services. We look forward to connecting with you.
