I have landed on Mars five times, caught a piece of the Sun and some Stardust, and had a very close encounter with a comet. I contributed to the teams that accomplished these fantastic feats as a ground system engineer at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. I have used varying skills • Extensive knowledge of the Advanced Multi-Mission Operations System (AMMOS) and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) Ground Data System (GDS) • Managing the delivery of a complex system • Experience from formulation to mission operations • Managing software development teams including web development • Knowledge and use of software processes • Knowledge of telemetry standards (CCSDS) and formats • Deep space mission operations for critical events I have had many roles in my career – software developer, technical sales, manager, marketing, and systems engineer. I communicate and interface everyone from the senior managers to my peers to the junior engineers. I create efficient solutions for the team.
