About Priska Prasetya

I specialise in driving international business development and managing public-private partnerships in sustainability-focused projects, particularly in the field of waste management and agriculture. I have 10+ years of experience building collaborations across regions in Europe, Asia, Africa, connecting governments, companies, NGOs, and research institutions to establish impactful partnerships. With 16 years of intercultural experience through studies and professional roles, I have developed a better understanding of what motivates people to work together to develop solutions for both societal and environmental challenges. Currently, I work as a Business Developer of Plant Sciences Group at Wageningen University & Research (WUR). In this role, I support researchers across different fields—including Agrosystems Research, Field Crops, Greenhouse Horticulture, and Plant Breeding—in building partnerships and developing new projects. I also contribute to the Global Yield Gap Atlas, a global platform providing agronomic data related to yield gaps for major crops worldwide. I enjoy applying my interpersonal skills to develop interdisciplinary projects and navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments. I have a personal affinity for personal finance management. I also bring an entrepreneurial spirit to my work, driven by a self-starting attitude and determination to deliver results both individually and as part of a team.
