About Pritha Biswas

I am medical doctor with specialization in obstetrics and gynecology ( MD ), and healthcare management (MBA - Healthcare Administration). I feel lucky to possess extensive and diverse healthcare experience in the areas of clinical service delivery, training and supervision, clinical governance and audits, program support and proposal development as part of the technical and program support provided to country programs and RMNCH projects across Asia and Africa. My experience in the health sector spans public, not-for-profit and private sectors in various capacities. I have worked and engaged with UN agencies such as UNFPA, UNICEF and WHO, professional bodies such as FIGO, and donors including FCDO, USAID, BMGF among others. My roles providing regional and global technical support have involved extensive cross-country collaboration, external engagement and cross-functional collaboration, including with MEL, program, policy, digital and marketing teams. Areas of expertise and interest: clinical governance and quality assurance, technical and program support, clinical training and supervision; development, review, dissemination and implementation of technical resources e.g, clinical guidelines and standards, development of concept notes, policy and program briefs, toolkits and job-aids, and skills and knowledge-based training and technical materials
