About Prithvi Arunshankar

I am currently a M.S. student studying Scientific Computing and Applied Mathematics at UC Santa Cruz seeking an entry-level position in May 2025 to apply my expertise in machine learning, data analysis, and scientific computing. My undergraduate and graduate coursework has provided me a solid foundation in numerical methods, software engineering, machine learning, and data analysis, with experience in programming languages like Python, Java, C++, and MATLAB. During my current experience as a research assistant at Theoretical and Applied Complex Systems Lab in UC Santa Cruz, I worked on building neural networks and utilizing supercomputer resources to generate accurate high-resolution reconstructions of ocean data. To build on my skillset, I have also created projects (which are in my Linkedin profile and GitHub portfolio) that reflect my mastery of machine learning, data analysis, and high-performance computing. I am excited to apply my skills to boost the company's brand and help contribute to problem-solving applications.
