About Prity Sen

As a Research Associate at the Adelaiye-Ogala Lab and a Master of Science candidate in Microbiology and Immunology at the University at Buffalo, I am passionate about advancing the fields of oncology and molecular biology through innovative and rigorous research. With about four years of experience in various domains of biomedical sciences, I have developed strong wet lab and scientific writing skills, as well as a natural aptitude for planning and conducting independent research. Currently, I am leading a project on prostate cancer and its implications for drug discovery, designing and executing experiments under the guidance of the Principal Investigator. I also collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to ensure the lab is fully stocked and functional to achieve desired research objectives. Additionally, I volunteer as a Crisis Counselor at Crisis Text Line, providing emotional support and crisis intervention to people in need. My goal is to pursue opportunities in the healthcare industry that will allow me to leverage my skills and expertise, as well as to contribute to the development of novel therapies and solutions for patients.
