Hi! I’m Priya. My super-power is crafting engaging people-first experiences to help creative humans do their most meaningful work. I’ve been a guardian of a culture that people have boasted about, creating a fiercely loyal team and proud alumni. I am passionate about our experiences in the workplace. How might we ensure that everyone has a positive, genuine, joyful experience with where they choose to do their mahi? I’ve been a Dairy owner’s daughter, a wedding MC and a Wheel of Fortune Carry-over Champion working in Wellington to Melbourne and back again doing all sorts. Here are some moments that I’m extremely proud of in my People & Culture mahi- Redesigned Leadership Structure: Developed and launched PaperKite’s new leadership framework, ensuring every team member is supported by both a People Coach and a Discipline Lead for growth and development. Took on the role of Coach for several PKers- Established Growth Framework: Created and implemented PaperKite’s Growth Framework, providing a clear structure for regular performance reviews, peer feedback, skill and competency assessments, and setting learning objectives for all PaperKiters- Launched Tenure Celebrations: Introduced Tenure Celebrations to recognise and reward long service, promoting retention and celebrating team members with additional annual leave, koha, and other benefits- Elevated ENPS Scores: Contributed to achieving a consistently high ENPS target score of +40, with an average rating of +66 over the past 12 months, peaking at +84 since my appointment- Award-Winning Contributions: Played a key role in writing submissions that led to PaperKite winning the Hyer Culture 100 NZ’s Greatest Companies to Work For Award, the Southern Cross Wayfinder Awards, and the 2024 Organisation Wellbeing Award from Vitae. “I'm so grateful for your part in shaping the culture here into what it is today – especially the 'bring as much or as little as you want to work' part.
