As an experienced senior management professional, I have over 27 years of overall experience including over 16 years of exposure in the supply chain domain. Since the beginning of my current profile, I have gained a strong understanding of developing and maintaining sourcing vision, materials management, daily followups, processes, selecting, managing and developing strategic suppliers for Polyurethane Chemical Industry I possess a solid track record of maintaining organisational profitability by optimising costs and developing effective vendor relationships. I am an expert in working from quotes to procurement for 70% imports and 30% local as per ISO standard; optimising the procurement process, evaluating and selecting suppliers, managing risk and compliance. I also contribute to scheduling and planning, enhancing waste management and revenue including evaluating business goals and objectives. I maintain working knowledge of relational database and partly HR activities, MS Office and ERP software and business acumen My expertise in coordinating with the production units and stores for their daily requirements, maintaining the global supply chain performance metrics and other statutory regulations to manage large volume of raw material purchases from across the globe amongst others have proven to be beneficial to the organisation. My knowledge of regulatory requirements and processes have enabled me to seamlessly deal with the importers, warehouses and CHA to ensure timely inventory availability.
