About Priya Loganathar

As a Human Factors Consultant at UW School of Medicine and Public Health, I formulate and execute a comprehensive research strategy to optimize human factors considerations within radiology reading rooms. I leverage my expertise in mixed methods research, content analysis, and journey mapping to identify and address interruptions and workflow disruptions, employing a user-centered and systems-oriented approach. I also foster interdisciplinary communication and collaboration with experts from diverse fields, such as radiology, psychology, and computer science, to ensure the seamless integration of findings into practice. I am also a PhD candidate in Human Factors Engineering at University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I investigate and enhance user engagement in consumer health technologies using various qualitative, quantitative, and text analysis techniques. My dissertation focuses on creating a systems-approach for design of AI applications in healthcare that identifies and mitigates social bias, drawing on my previous experience as a Graduate Intern at Mayo Clinic Platform. I am passionate about converging multiple methodologies and stakeholder perspectives to design technologies for better health for all.
