About Priya Thakur

Over the 19 years career in media strategy and planning, I have been fortunate to work across some of the iconic brands and agencies in the country. Though CPG has been a dominant part of my career, I chose to expand my learnings by adding some of the new age categories like ecom, retail, pharma and luxury to my journey. I believe that if you look for the best, you end up getting it! That's what makes my journey even more interesting. Over the years I have worked across some of the finest CPG brands like Unilever, Reckitt, ITC, Kellogg’s, TCPL, Mondelez, Beiersdorf, etc. In ecom, have been part of the growth journey of brands like Firstcry and Tata Cliq. In luxury have been fortunate to work on prestigious brands like Rolex and Natural Diamond Council. In retail have worked on brands like Croma and Shoppers’s Stop. Others include Sun Pharma, Asus, Citibank, Diageo, Star Plus to name a few. Over the years I have helped brands identify the right growth trajectory with short term and long-term goals, identify the right consumer cohorts, have the categorization of markets, strong media strategic pillars and a full funnel deployment plan across platforms and lastly have a robust mechanism for measurement. I have always believed that brands grow when we priorities the consumer and the need gap that the brand can fulfill. While I have worked with brands that have overwhelming legacy or have some cutting-edge solutions to provide, it only matters when it solves a real consumer problem, till then it is thoughts and ideas that would not see the light of the day.
