About Priyam Tripathy

Geographer and urbaniste by training, I have acquired extensive scientific expertise by working at universities in the UK, the US, France, and in India. I completed my Doctorate (Ph.D.) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Urban Geography. I have led research projects on issues of densification and planning of cities, governance, environment and ecology and spatial injustices in the cities. I continue to publish my research in reputed academic journals as well as to the general public. I recently completed my contract as a Postdoctoral Research Associate on a European Research Council (ERC) financed project at the University of Durham, UK. I have worked on consultancy projects on urban issues in France and India under the status of an auto-entrepreneur. Reliable, curious, and rigorous, I am enthusiastic about new projects and opportunities in universities, policy and research institutions, as well as private enterprises- En tant que géographe et urbaniste, j'ai acquis mon expertise scientifique en travaillant dans des universités au Royaume-Uni, aux États-Unis, en France et en Inde. J'ai mené des recherches sur les questions de métabolisme urbain, de densification, de gouvernance et de planification urbaines, ainsi que sur les injustices environnementales et spatiales.
