About Priyanka Baskar

An Architect and Designer by choice, passion and strive. I believe, creating unique spaces that pleases the eyes, surroundings that tranquillize the mind and heights that hurt the neck, has only been possible through Architecture and Design. I also believe such design is not always created afresh, but also refreshed and reinvigorated. My favourite saying goes “Details are not just details, they make the Design”, and this is applicable not just for Architecture/Interiors but for every little creation out there. Details are everywhere, the more we notice them, the more we understand and respect what they make. Design is only a part of one such thing and I strive to master the details in many. I have always been a person who loves and aspires to perfection. Perfection takes time, but once achieved, there is no looking back. From my room to my hand bag to my work desk, I love things to be organized. And that’s how my ‘style of working’ has always been. Patience, confidence and perseverance is my favourite sandwich, eaten heavily dipped in a sauce called strong communication skills. My work experience made me understand that designing is one thing but executing the same is another. As much as I love designing, I enjoy seeing it come alive. The levels and touches a piece of work undergoes from inception to execution is numerous and to keep it intact and true is very important. This understanding eventuated while working closely with clients, interior designers and fellow architects on one side and site engineers, vendors and workers on the other. It has also helped me build myself not just as a Designer but also as a strong arbitrator who never hesitates to delve into managing a project, be it big or small.
