I am Sr. Engineering Manager at Sequoia with a total experience of 10+ years, where I lead two high-performing engineering teams building apps for employees and their dependents to have a one-stop solution for their healthcare and benefit needs. I have over three years of experience in leading cross-functional teams of developers in frontend, backend, and mobile development. In my previous role at IBM, Sears and Nivaata Systems, I worked on several apps for major clients in the retail, transport, banking, and healthcare industries. I am passionate about growing as an engineer and a leader, which has helped me build valuable experience in hiring and leading high-caliber teams of motivated software engineers.Apart from managing the mobile and workplace team, I am actively involved in iOS development, handling the requirements of the product team, and delivering products on time for iOS and Android apps. I have worked on the Sequoia Mobile App, which unifies the benefits, HR, retirement, and insurance services for our clients' employees and their dependents to have a one-stop solution for anything related to benefits. I have also been involved in developing apps for consumers and providers, integrating REST data models and services and Payment Gateways like Braintree and Paytm.In addition to my engineering responsibilities, I am responsible for maintaining appropriate communication between various stakeholders spread across geography, including architects, designers, and product owners. I have a demonstrated history of decision-making on architecture, cross-team communication, and the end-to-end development of the system.Overall, my technical documentation skills, Swift framework development, and code quality skills have enabled me to successfully lead multiple product deliveries, set goals, and track progress through 1-1 conversations.
