About Protyusa Paul

Hi, I am currently working as an Analyst at MP Ensystems Advisory Private Ltd, where my work is based on sustainable mobility, where I undertake responsibilities pertaining to research, policy analysis and project implementation. Prior to this, I was Associate at Indian PAC Consultancy Pvt Ltd, where my job role predominantly revolved around stakeholder liaising, strategy development and research. I have completed my MTech from IIT Kharagpur, with specialization in infrastructure design and management, fostering a keen interest in sustainable mobility, public policy, transportation and urban management. My MTech thesis has been focused on developing business model for ride hailing service (RHS) operators for electrification of their cab fleet through financial modelling supported by favourable policy recommendations. I had presented my thesis findings at the International Urban Affairs Association Conference held in Nashville, USA in 2023. I have completed a six-month internship at WRI India, where I worked on various projects related to electric mobility, such as battery manufacturing, battery swapping business. I gained valuable experience in conducting business and financial analysis, supply chain and market review, using various tools like macros and frameworks. I also contributed to the development of policy recommendations and stakeholder engagement strategies for promoting electric mobility in India. I am looking forward to applying my knowledge and skills to solve real-world challenges and opportunities in the field of urban management and transportation, especially in the domain of sustainable mobility, financial modelling and policy. I am passionate about creating innovative and sustainable solutions that benefit the society and the environment. With my experience in on-ground project implementation and public official liaising, I want to be instrumental in transforming the data-driven solutions into ground-realities. I am also eager to learn from and collaborate with renowned organizations and experts, and to align my goals with their vision and mission.
