I am a third-year psychology student at Macquarie University, maintaining a strong WAM of 78. My academic journey reflects my deep passion for psychological research and mental health. I’ve completed an independent research project where I applied rigorous statistical analyses and conducted multiple literature reviews, strengthening my expertise in critical thinking and evidence-based inquiry. I am enthusiastic about continuing my academic and professional development as I work toward my goal of pursuing a Master of Clinical Psychology.Outside of my studies, I work in disability and mental health support, where I have the privilege of partnering with individuals facing a range of challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, depression, anxiety, and intellectual disabilities. This role has taught me the importance of compassion, adaptability, and collaboration in addressing complex needs. Each client interaction enriches my understanding of mental health and strengthens my commitment to creating a meaningful impact in this field.In addition to my academic and professional pursuits, I bring over 10 years of experience in customer-facing, administrative and contact support roles, where I honed my skills in interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and understanding diverse perspectives. These roles allowed me to support employees dealing with work-related anxieties, disputes, and personal challenges, further enhancing my ability to connect with people on a human level. With a unique blend of academic achievement, professional dedication, and practical experience, I am driven to contribute to the field of mental health in every capacity possible.
