About Prue Chambers

Prue provides counselling and therapy to children, young people and adults in the areas of mental health, trauma, adapting to change, emotional support for gifted and talented children, grief and loss, relationship issues including sexual issues. Family and friends provide a wonderful support network, however sometimes life throws us unexpected challenges and an experienced, neutral person can give you the support and understanding required to make life seem that little bit easier and more fulfilling. Prue uses an integrative approach to support each client depending on their needs. A combination of play, art, sand and talk therapy are effective to promote long term positive changes. Prue has specialised training in the area neurobiology of childhood trauma including abuse. She is qualified to support children and their families including adult survivors of abuse with immediate and long term effects of trauma. Prue also has a unique speciality of supporting clients with sexual identity, sexual difficulties such as low libido or desire and relationship strains.
