About Prutha Patel

Hello, thanks for stopping by my page. I am Prutha Patel, a junior in Biology with a focus on dental track at IUPUI. I come from an Indian family where I was always taught to value my traditions and culture. I have 4 main life core values to focus on which includes God, education/work, friends and family, and being judgmental in my life. I chose God because if I am faithful in my god then I can be faithful in myself. Education/ work are a basic requirement for a sustainable life and recently, my technician job has taught me skills such as teamwork with fluent verbal communication, being focused and accurate with time management. Also, family and friends are my strength and pillars that stands next to me and I don’t fear trying different things as they’ll always support me. Next, regardless of my personality, I am judgmental about decisions I make that affect me in both, positive and negative ways but I thrive to learn from those mistakes and experiences. Furthermore, some of my strengths include being responsible, loyal, trustworthy, and being an active listener. Moving on, over the next 4 years, I want to pursue my bachelor’s in biology while focusing on the pre-dental track and business as my possible minor. In the late future, I wish to travel around the country and learn about different cities, towns, and their systems on dental health. Aside from this, I have been recently introduced to Architecture and photography so, I hope to carry these interests as I travel. Next, IUPUI has so many opportunities that I cannot wait to explore them throughout my time here. Through many opportunities here at IUPUI, I wish to build new connections that will make me even more faithful in achieving my aims. Lastly, I hope to find my passion besides my interest in dentistry and photography.
