I am an independent journalist researcher and translator with 12 years of experience and based in Kolkata Eastern India. I am passionate about storytelling and shedding light on issues related to marginalized communities. I have worked for print and digital mediums and used multimedia tools to produce compelling and informative stories. My reporting focuses on health science the environment policy social and gender justice LGBTQIA+ and minority rights art and culture. I have reported from various cities and rural communities in India and the US on topics ranging from urban development and governance rural development and homebuyers' real estate woes to Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs) and local and national politics advances in nanosciences dissecting the symbolism behind colors and severe weather.
